A few things I love about the South

1. Fireflies!

2. Magnolia trees

3. Big, old houses with huge front porches that have swings and/or rocking chairs

4. The smell of BBQ/smoked meat

5. Cicadas (although very loud, I find them somewhat soothing as I am lying in bed at night)

6. The fact that high 80s/low 90s is considered mild weather

7. Live bands on outdoor patios while enjoying delicious food

8. The occasional lightening/thunder storms

9. Air conditioning
